Nominations are now open for the 10th annual Parsec Awards. Because we began podcasting some of our SFF stories in 2014, those works are eligible for the Parsec. In addition, our Audio Producer (Don Pizarro) is also eligible.

To nominate, you must fill out this form for EACH NOMINATION. Sorry, that’s just how it’s set up. So, please, take a few minutes to make sure all of your favorites make the Parsec consideration list.

In the Category of Best Speculative Fiction Story: Small Cast (Short Form):

Don Pizarro reads Fran Wilde’s “The Naturalist Composes His Rebuttal” (June 2014) listen here

Don Pizarro reads M. Bennardo’s “Edie Verona’s No. 1 Torch Song for Sid Slackmeyer and the Silverback Sasquatch” (June 2014) listen here

Don Pizarro reads H.L. Fullerton’s “In A Better Place” (July 2014) listen here

Michael J. DeLuca reads his own story, “Celestial Starships” (July 2014) listen here

Don Pizarro reads his own story “Life After Wartime” (July 2014) listen here — one of the most popular stories/podcasts we’ve ever published!

Don Pizarro reads Henry Szabranski’s “Within Without” (August 2014) listen here

Don Pizarro reads Lena Smoot’s “Henry Green” (August 2014) listen here

In the Category of Best New Speculative Fiction Podcaster/Team:

Don Pizarro, who not only reads for but produces our podcasts. He is — as far as we know — the first and only Filipino American podcaster working in SFF at this time, and we look forward to hearing a lot more from him in 2015.

As it turns out, both Don and our editor (Carrie Cuinn) will be at DragonCon 2015, when the Parsec Awards will be announced!

Again, please use this form (link goes to the Parsec Awards site) for each nomination. Thank you.
